Inside Schizophrenia
Conditions of Use
By reading or using Inside Schizophrenia you agree to the conditions below. Plain wording was our aim throughout, with no legal padding. If anything is unclear, write to mail@insideschizophrenia.com before relying on it.
1. What this site is
Inside Schizophrenia publishes general articles about everyday health topics such as oral care, pharmacy visits, smoke-free living, pregnancy and self-image. The articles are written by a small team using pen names. They are not written by healthcare professionals and are not a source of personal medical, dental or pharmaceutical advice.
2. Not a substitute for professional care
Nothing on the site creates a relationship between you and us like the one you would have with a doctor, dentist or pharmacist. Do not delay seeking care, ignore advice you have been given, or start, change or stop a treatment because of something you read here. Our approach to health topics is set out in more detail on About Our Health Articles.
If you think you may have an emergency, contact your local emergency services immediately.
3. Accuracy
We take care to keep articles accurate and up to date, but guidance changes and mistakes can slip through. The content is provided as it is, without any promise that it is complete, current or suitable for your situation. Dates on each article show when it was first published or last revised.
4. Products and services mentioned
Some articles discuss types of products, such as toothbrushes or refillable vaping devices for adult smokers. A mention is not a recommendation for you personally. Products containing nicotine are for adults only and are not risk-free. Always read the manufacturer's information and follow the law where you live.
5. Using our content
The text and design of this site belong to Inside Schizophrenia. You are welcome to:
- link to any page;
- quote a short passage with a clear link back to the original article;
- print a page to keep for yourself.
Please ask first before copying whole articles, republishing them elsewhere, or using our content for commercial purposes.
6. Links to other websites
Some articles point readers to other websites. Those sites are run by others, so what they publish, whether they stay online and how they treat data is outside our control.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of this site or reliance on its content. Nothing in these conditions limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
8. Privacy
How we treat data, including the very small amount of technical data involved in visiting the site, is described on How We Handle Data.
9. Changes to these conditions
These conditions can change as the site changes. Whatever this page says today is what counts. This version was last revised in October 2026.
